By the end of the Qing Dynasty, this rumor spread to the ears of the Empress Dowager Cixi, so she ate at midnight one day and immediately sent people to the shop to buy stinky tofu. In the end, she sighed for the deliciousness and even named it "Yuqingfang." Since then, the reputation of stinky tofu has spread even more.
